About Blue Tara Quartz
Blue Tara Quartz/ Blue Rabbit Hair Quartz are nicknames to describe Amphibole Quartz with fibrous inclusions. These inclusions resemble rabbit fur and are shorter and thinner than the typical rutile, tourmaline, or other acicular inclusions found in sagenitic quartz. Hematite infused rabbit hair is pink or red, goethite makes it yellow and peachy. In blue ones, it’s dumortierite and indicolite give them the blue shades.
Blue Tara quartz is also commonly thought to be included with Riebeckite, fibrous blue tourmaline and Olenite tourmaline, and sometimes it is referred to as a blue amphibole. Known for its ability to dissolve obstacles, this crystal is a catalyst for dissolving anxiety.
